Build Your Own Group (BYOG)

The Parent Center runs monthly parent support groups that are designed around the interests and needs of the parents in each group. We encourage parents to gather together a group of their friends, or the parents of their children’s friends, to meet monthly with a professional leader. These groups provide a safe place to have real conversations, obtain useful information, and learn concrete tools to use when you get home. Current and past groups have elected to remain nonspecific while others have chosen to narrow their focus to such areas as mindful parenting, Hispanic parents, and separated/divorced parents.
Want to start a group? Gather together some friends and contact us.
Parent Consultation
Need some time to talk about something privately? We can do that. We invite you to come in for 1 to 3 session to talk about what’s going on in your home and offer psychoeducation, tips and perspective.
Need a little parenting advice? Contact us.
We offer several parent-centered skills groups throughout the year. Learn more about our full roster of “Parent Circle” offerings here.
