PARENTS

At the Community Counseling Center, we work with parents and caregivers to help families build on their strengths and develop clear lines of communication. This often helps to reduce conflicts and increase positive interactions. We listen without criticism and keep what you say confidential.

If you are having difficulties in any of these areas, counseling may be helpful for you:

  • Troubled relationships with your children
  • Parenting conflicts with your spouse or partner
  • Coping with separation or divorce
  • Difficulty with teachers and school
  • Rebellious or distant teenagers
  • Hostility among family members
  • Setting rules and limits
  • Risky behavior by children or teenagers
  • Drug or alcohol abuse

At the Community Counseling Center, we work with families to recognize problematic areas in their interactions and to develop new strategies for achieving healthier communication and relationships.
